For best results, add PCM Dal Masala to the hot tempering after frying cumin seeds, chilli and asafoetida. Fry briefly and pour the tempering over the cooked dal.
Yes. It can be used with common lentil preparations including arhar dal, moong dal, masoor dal, urad dal and mixed dal recipes.
Start with approximately 1 to 2 teaspoons depending on the quantity of dal being prepared. Adjust according to serving size and personal taste.
Yes. The masala can be added in small quantities to selected vegetable and lentil-based dishes for additional spice and aroma.
Store in a cool and dry place. After opening, transfer the contents to an airtight container to protect the masala from moisture and preserve its aroma.
